The Grand Paradi Towers are three tower residential building consist of 28 storeys each, at Kemps Corner Malabar Hill South Mumbai, one of the most prosperous areas of Mumbai, which was constructed in 1975 is well known for its graceful design and remarkable panoramic view of city. Being one of the oldest and biggest residential societies in the city, few years back it was an indicator of status and prestige, so Grand Paradi Towers became the residence of some of the most wealthy and well known personalities of the city. Beside the architectural beauty, Grand Paradi Towers became more famous by some usual and unusual activities in last two decade. Due to multiple suicide and accident happened, now Grand Paradi Towers became 2nd most haunted places of India after Bhangarh Fort, Rajasthan.

It is said that all these happening started after the unusual death of a young girl in late 70s who jumped or fall from a floor of Grand Paradi Towers but no evidence of that incidence is found anywhere. So first real incidence happened on Sunday, June 14, 1998 when an old couple, Mr. Vasudeo Dalal and his wife Tara Dalal committed suicide by jumping off the veranda of eighth floor room. They left a suicide note on which they mentioned that they were continuous harassed by son Balkrishna and daughter in law Sonal Dalal. So, Balkrishna and Sonal were arrested by police. After a long court proceeding of seven years they realized that they were financially insecure and their business of spare parts was not doing well, so they decide to quite. On the decision day, Monday, March 28, 2005, at 6:30 AM, Balkrishna, Sonal and their 19 year old daughter Pooja committed suicide by jumping from the same apartment in the same custom as their parents did.

In year 2000 Mr. Jain who was also one of a resident of the Grand Paradi Towers, committed suicide.

In an another incidence 36 years old Mr. Narayan Ramchander who was mentally tortured by his companies and was very tensed, committed suicide by jumping of 19th floor of Grand Paradi Towers on Thursday, April 26, 2001.

There have been more than 20 unusual incident happened since Grand Paradi Towers residential building were constructed. In an incident a housemaid was died by falling out from the window.

Ghost or not, but residence of Grand Paradi Tower are very terrified of these entire incidence, so there have organized havans and puja several times.
