Fort Feroz Shah Kotla – Where djinns fulfill people’s wishes: Fort Feroz Shah Kotla built by Sultan Feroz Shah Tughlaq during his ruling period of 1351 to 1388 to fulfill his vision of Capital Ferozabad in Delhi. Even on his order one of the pillars Samrat Ashoka constructed and left during the Mauryan emperor was moved from Pong Ghati Ambala, Punjab (which now is in Haryana state) to Delhi and re-erected in his fort in 1356.

Instead of one of the famous historical places in Delhi, the fort is famous for djinns. It is said that several djinns are residing there and fulfill the desire of humans who worship there. According to Islam or Arabian Mythology, Jinn or Djinns are supernatural creatures mentioned many times in the Quran. Accordingly, to the Quran, there is an unseen world, another universe. Other than the existing universe where all these Djinns or Jinn living. Accordingly to the Quran God create humans, angels, and djinns. Djinns can be good, evil, or neutral like human beings, so they are free like humans, unlike angels.
These Djinns are made smokeless but can physical in nature i.e. they are able to interact with humans, animals, and objects. The Fort Feroz Shah Kotla is famous not only as a historical place but it is said that several djinns have resided there and people go to worship them. It is said that those djinns fulfill the wishes of humans. Thousands of people go there on Thursday and leave a letter there, in which they wrote their wishes. Whatever it is reality or rumors but thousands of people have believed in them.
