DND India: Block Unwanted Spam Call and Messages
Spamming is a very common problem we all are facing over digital electronic media. It not just limited to Internet or email, but also we are receiving a lot of spamming calls and messages regarding markets, insurance etc. Most of the spam calls and messages are unwanted and received when we are busy in do something or excepting some important call or message and when it happens, it just makes us crazy. So now the question is what to do?? How to block these spam calls and messages??. In India, TRAI is handling all these things. They just block all promotional calls or messages that you don’t want, but for that, your number must have to register in TRAI and sometimes even after register to will get some unwanted calls and messages. At that time you have to tell TRAI that you are getting some promotional calls or SMSes so that they can block that number. All these things look nice and easy to implement, but the fact is all these things take time and must be in proper format and if you missed something then you have to start from the beginning. So now how to handle this??. The is a solution, DND India, Powered by Mind IT Systems.
This is an android app with great and easy to handle the user interface. This app lets you register your mobile number with the NDNC (National Do Not Call) registry and manage your preferences in just a few taps. You can report the unwanted calls and messages to TRAI from this app and even view a list of reported items.
The main feature of the app is:
• Register in NDNC registry
• Manage your preferences in terms of registration categories
• Report recent SMS/ calls as unsolicited promotional calls to TRAI
• View list of SMS/ calls reported using the app
• Check status of an existing complaint using a UCC#
The idea is to make it very simple for you to report the spam and unwanted calls and messages to TRAI and help them take action against telemarketers who do not abide by the rules.
